1. MARATHON BURGER
Marathon Burger has quickly become a favorite and staple in Los Angeles. Gina emphasized that she must rank it #1, not only because of its vibrant culture but also due to the incredible food!
The idea for Marathon Burger was born from Nipsey’s vision to expand his brand into various facets of lifestyle, including food. His brother, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, shared that they were inspired to create their own burger after exploring different smash burger spots around L.A., aiming to craft something that truly represented their taste and commitment to quality.
The signature offering is a double Wagyu smashburger, featuring grilled onions, pickled Fresno peppers, house-made pickles, American cheese, and a tangy secret sauce, all nestled in a toasted brioche bun. The menu also caters to diverse preferences with options like vegan patties made from organic ingredients, hot wings, and milkshakes crafted with Thrifty ice cream.
“You gotta get the shrimp with the buffalo sauce and shake it up together – there’s some real sauce for you!”
